About Us – Stoetzel Chiropractic Clinic in Winston Salem

Chiropractor treating patient

At the Stoetzel Chiropractic Clinic, our focus is the patient. The clinic strives to help each client achieve their health and wellness goals, whether it be pain reduction or prevention. From non-invasive, gentle chiropractic techniques to relaxing hydromassage and innovative laser therapy treatments, patients find relief with our Winston Salem chiropractor, Dr. John F. Stoetzel, and his entire team.

Our Practice

The Stoetzel Chiropractic Clinic opened its doors in November of 1994, on Peter's Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. In May 2011, the clinic moved to a medical suite in the Brookview Hills Medical Center off Hanes Mall Blvd. Patients enjoy the calming, friendly atmosphere, and upgraded technology we offer at our chiropractic office.

Our Chiropractor and Staff

Our chiropractor, Dr. John Stoetzel, leads the Stoetzel Chiropractic Clinic with over 18 years of experience. Dr. Stoetzel is joined by Enchy, who is the Clinic Manager. They work together as a team to help patients receive affordable, effective health and wellness care designed to reduce or eliminate pain and get patients back to feeling their best.

Services Provided

The Stoetzel Chiropractic Clinic offers a wide variety of services to patients, including:

  • Traditional chiropractic care and adjustments
  • Hydromassage
  • Massage therapy
  • K-Laser Therapy
  • Personal injury care
  • Corrective exercises
  • Lifestyle advice
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Spinal and postural screenings

During the first phase of treatment, Dr. Stoetzel focuses on pain relief, and then when pain is minimal or eliminated, treatment becomes focused on corrective care. We will work to help patients achieve proper alignment of the spine, which is maintained during the third phase of treatment: wellness care.

Chiropractic care has been proven to be effective in treating a wide range of ailments, from back and neck pain to ear infections, allergies, headaches, asthma, carpal tunnel, ADHD, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and more.

Updated Technology for Comprehensive Care

Dr. Stoetzel offers the latest state-of-the-art technology in chiropractic care for his patients. He was the first chiropractor to purchase Ultralign, which senses subluxations in the spine, graphs them on a chart, and provides percussive treatment to realign the out-of-place vertebrae within the spine. He also uses the Class IV K-Laser, which is a non-invasive laser therapy approved by the FDA as effective in treating pain and inflammation. In 2011, our clinic upgraded from a traditional x-ray machine to digital x-ray technology.
